The higher level arts group (13 Students from 7L and 8L) took a trip to Venice for some days (November 19th - 24th 2017) together with art-teacher Marcus Hufnagl to get inspired from the art of the city. Every day we went to several museums and exhibitions.
Our venues have been: Biennale dell Arte (Giardini, Arsenale), Monasterio San Giorgio, Palazzo Ducale, Chiesa Santa Maria delle Salute, Punta delle Dogana, Palazzo Grassi, Ghetto, Basilica San Marco, Negozio Olivetti (Carlo Scarpa), Galleria Academia, Guggenheim Collection, Museo Fortuny, Museo Ca' Pesaro, Museo Ca' Corner (Fondazione Prada), Basilica dei Frari, Scuola grande di San Roccho, University (Carlo Scarpa).
In front of each of the destinations, a student had a little presentation about the building and the history behind it. After the busy day the whole class could enjoy the good food from Italy. The art trip helped the students to get inspired and to use what they have seen in their future artworks.
